These are just my ideas to try and get an active CoC-Online scene, maybe my ideas suck and you have a better one! I'm open to any suggestions, and you are welcome to go to the guild and join right now to keep in touch or guide the initial steps of what the guild will be. So if players like the game and the cards they can actually go out and buy them. The restricted card pool will not be based on "release date" but "current availability".
The ideas are still forming, we may end up with the restricted ladder and of course members can play the full card pool if they want, or even run two ladders. The idea is so new players can jump in and have a smaller card pool to deal with when deck building. Then we will be adding entire cycles at a time after a given event. One that will start with the Core Set or maybe the Core Set and Twilight Deluxe or something, but the point is a small restricted card pool will be legal for the ladder. The guild is going to be aimed at new players, and to facilitate this I have an idea to make the League run off a restricted card pool. Call of Cthulhu LCG - Online League is just bear bones for now, but feel free to join if you are interested and help out with initial ideas and setup. I will be running it out of BGG form this my new guild. I'm in the process of finalizing a new CoC-LCG Online League.
Ok, Apps are getting sorted, who will I be playing with?
I do not know much about OCTGN, but I do know that the main OCTGN page is missing card image packs and that the image packs for the game are a mishmash of different sized cards (no idea if that matters)Įither way, I'm going to make a standardized edition of the card packs and host this single file on my DropBox along with Lacke圜CG so people can easily add the images to OCTGN and be off and running.Īgain, if anyone knows how to contact the OCTGN curator please let me know as it would be best to coordinate with whom ever that is. Once I finish with Lacke圜CG I'll take a look at the OCTGN Plugin, preferably I'll be able to get in touch with the current curator. If anyone knows a place I can find decent resolution Faction Icons.
I am still working on the skin for Lackey (with some help from MasterJedi and Chris) as well as some new functionalities. Still, if he dose the changes, they will reflect in Lacke圜CG. I've emailed him but there is a strong chance he is to busy or just over the CoC Deck Builder which I am sure he considered a closed project for a while now. These few errors need to be corrected on Zorbec's side of the export/import stuff.
Now all cards load correctly, all images are a uniform size and a host of other small fixes.Īlso everything apart from 6 cards will load correctly from Zorbec's Deck Builder. I've consolidated them into a single plugin I will be hosting. There was a ton of errors in the 4 versions floating about. The new edition of the Lacke圜CG plugin is nearly complete.
